Supervision Smorgasbord: Sampling Theories and Finding your Flavor

This session will prepare participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge of supervision theories to use with supervisees at various developmental levels. Participants will have time to process and discuss which theory they align with. Participants will then practice supervision theory implementation with a case study. Finally, a supervision disclosure statement based on the selected theory will be created.

*This is an advanced training and it is recommended that you participate in a basic supervision training before registering for this one. This is not the same training that would qualify you to be a supervisor in the state of Missouri.

Objectives

  • Participants will understand at least 3 supervision theories

  • Participants will practice implementing a supervision theory based on a supervisee case study

  • Participants will create a supervision disclosure statement about their style of supervision

$35 for non-members. $20 for MMHCA members (use discount code found in the member portal). Register below.
